Reservation not fulfilled after Expedia confirmed. Hotel clerk would not investigate and Expedia said all info on their end was correct, approved and submitted to the hotel. Had to book room at higher rate and given room with inoperable toilet. General condition of lobby, hallways and rooms is poor for a Hampton Inn. But the heat and hot water worked.

We were advised of a $12 parking charge after we arrived which was not normal for a suburban open parking lot. Courtyard by Marriott nearby had no such charge. The room had no glasses in it and I was rudely told by the clerk that they did not put glasses in rooms because of COVID, yada, yada, yada. Courtyard, in the same town, had sealed plastic glasses and coffee cups in their rooms. Courtyard also had a coffee maker and ice bucket which were not there at Hampton. We had reserved a room with a king bed and sofa which are shown on Hampton/Hilton's website as well as other third party sites as being offered The Hampton/Hilton reservation clerk assured us that the room was so equipped. It had no sofa and the desk clerk once again rudely told us that the hotel did not have sofas. Harsh words ensued. Long story short the clerk called the police and locked us out Fortunately a Courtyard was located nearby and had a room with all we asked from Hampton at a lesser price.

My wife had used Hilton/Hampton extensively when she travelled for business and we have also used them together. Needless to say in the future they will not be high on our priority list.

This is a very basic and clean room. It's in a good location in the business district and there are countless restaurant options in the area. It's not too far from the Columbine High School memorial which is worth the visit.

This is a great central location for traveling the area and sight seeing. The hotel itself appears a bit older, but it's obvious they've done renovations. The rooms were clean and comfortable. Nice and quiet. Very reasonable price. Only negatives: 1. The boxed breakfast (due to covid) was the same exact items every single day. After day 2 we just skipped the bland breakfast. 2. The hand sanitizer at the elevator remained empty for our entire 4 night stay. 3. Uncomfortable bed.

Room tip: 4th floor was very quiet

First the positive. The place was very clean. Room smelled very clean The room is what you expect as a Hampton. It is in a good location on the west edge of the Denver area. Easy access to I70. Many restaurants a short drive away. We stay at Hilton properties when we can. Now the negative. With Covid we stopped traveling as much. In as much we understand Hotels have had to modify their Breakfast. We called ahead and asked. We were told they have been forced to do brown bag. It would have fruit a breakfast sandwich and something else. The morning we went down there were bags on the counter. The one coffee pot was empty. We grabbed a couple bags. Here are the contents. An Apple, a hard granola bar, box juice and Yogurt. We called the front desk they said they had been out of sandwiches for a few days. Thank goodness there was coffee in the room. No muffin or bagel. If this is their plan for the future. Reduce the room price and do away with Breakfast. Oh and we we didn't have a place to be at until afternoon. The maid knocked on our door twice, despite the do not disturb sign hanging out. We'll think twice about coming back.
