John and Michelle provide excellent service in a comfortable laid back environment. The rooms have all of the amenities you would need. The rooms have a luxury feel and the private bathrooms were very very clean. The bath robes are way comfy too. The inn is not far off the main road but you still get the backcountry feel with stores etc. just a short drive away. We really appreciated the accommodating service for our breakfasts - we named the time with the option of being served on the top deck or in the dining area in the lounge. The library in the lounge has some very good reads with coffee/tea/hot choc service 24/7. Zoey and Lucy are priceless! Just a really cool place! We were there for three nights and were sad to leave. A tremendous price value in the beautiful CO mountains.

Room tip: Go with friends and book both rooms

Michelle and John are wonderful hosts who have set aside a portion of their home for a very comfortable stay. Our room was spotlessly clean with an exceptional bed. The bathroom was across the hall but still private and well-appointed. The common area is cozy and comfortable, and the breakfasts basic but more than sufficient for getting you on with your day. When you choose to linger, you'll enjoy the beautiful grounds.

Best of all, though, are the hosts. These are just good people you'll like immediately and will come to appreciate more as you get to know them. In all, very highly recommended.

Room tip: There are just two rooms here, equally nice.

My husband and I stayed here for 3 nights during our honeymoon and it was absolutely perfect. Elk Run is surrounded by nature and some of the most beautiful scenic drives through the small town. Michelle and John are extremely helpful and accommodating, and Zoey, their Great Dane is so sweet. Michelle made us breakfast every morning and even packed a breakfast for us when we left at 5am to go mountain biking one morning! The bed was so comfortable it was like sleeping on a cloud. Really everything was great.

Located in the mountains off the beaten path and within minutes of the quaint town of Evergreen this 2 unit B&B is hosted by Michelle and John who have left no detail overlooked when they outfitted their home for guests. Situated on 3.5 acres of woods complete with a brook babbling through it we were cordially welcomed and made to feel totally at home. Everything was available for our use from a private entrance to a large common room for relaxing with TV and reading material. Michelle is a talented cook and served a wonderful breakfast. We much appreciated the extent of the details such as a closet with hangers, a low table to put our 'stuff' on and a great shower. Having been open only about a year they have the B&B business figured out!
Due to the location internet access is spotty.

Room tip: Reasonable price, Clean, spacious, comfortable, quiet, and fun place to stay!

We enjoyed every single moment we spent at Elk Run Bed and Breakfast. The place is warm and welcoming, and Michelle and John are awesome hosts! We felt like personal guests in their home, and at the same time our privacy was well respected. Michelle's yummy breakfasts are impossible to forget! Next time we visit the Denver area, we know exactly where we are going to stay!
