“True Solitude”

Beauty, solitude, privacy, and comfort all wrapped up in one location! The sound of the canyon's creek running by outside your windows will take you into a different space than that which you left to get here. The home was well decorated, comfortable and well supplied. You are left alone but help is near if you need it. It was just what we hoped for. The only reason for four, not five stars was that the gas grill did not work on the porch and the biscuits provided were simply Pillsbury variety you had to cook in an convection oven that would be unfamiliar to most. But even those issues seemed insignificant after spending time in such a wonderful environ.

“More than what I expected!”

We stayed at the Victorian and it was beautiful! If you could picture the most picture perfect little cottage in the mountains then this is what you picture. We were there with our two teenage girls and they loved it too. There is a beautiful stream in front of the cottage also a big hill to hike up. Wild flowers and cool rocks to hike around. The cottage did come with some breakfast items which was nice. The bathtub you will love love love! The girls slept on a big pull out in the living room. This is much better suited for couples but it was still very nice. We would go back but probably leave the kids behind.

“A place of beauty and comfort!”

We wanted to get away from the Texas heat, so we headed to Colorado for a week of outdoor fun of hiking and biking and just take in the sites and enjoy the cooler weather.
Once my fiancé and I arrived, we were really impressed on the location and the friendly welcome we received upon arrival.

After a long day of outdoor fun, we were ready for some peace and quiet and this place is perfect! Lots of room, Wi-Fi, cable, a kitchen and every comfort you can expect at your own home. On our next outing we definitely plan on rebooking the same cottage.

We chose D&B Ranch on the Internet because we wanted to visit Pikes Peak
As soon as we arrived we knew we had chosen the right place, set in a secluded beautiful valley with a creek flowing by the property
The Victorian is tastefully decorated and furnished with a large sitting room small but well equipped kitchen area, large comfortable bedroom with a cosy sitting area overlooking the creek and a lovely bathroom jacuzzi bath and separate shower, best of all the porch with swing seat looking over the creek
Also on the property there is a beautiful Gazebo with B.BQ and fire with lots of seating, a kitchen with washing facilities for use of the Guests
The whole area is wonderful with lots of good hikes a places to visit.
We hope to return again in the near future
As we come from the U.K. There were problems with payment but Jerry was willing to wait until we arrived,we offered to pay as soon as we met him and he said there was no hurry but we paid up in the good old fashioned way with cash how easy
We highly recommend this place
