Description: The Broker Restaurant is one of the oldest dining institutions in Denver. Located in the basement of what was once the Denver National Bank Building, this restaurant has become an international destination for old world dining. Prepare to indulge in a huge bowl of peel and eat Gulf shrimp that comes with every dinner entree. They are still famous for their elegant private dining and business dinners. Make sure to ask to tour the old vault and numerous private dining rooms.

The location was terrific. They served dinner inside a safe with a 23 ton door. The food was very good. The crab and lamb chops were terrific.

One of Denver's iconic restaurants lives up to its reputation... AND they are celebrating their 45th anniversary - wow what a great night!!!

Service - The owner greeted us and Ben our server was amazing!
Food/Wine/Coffee - Were all delicious!
Atmosphere - Had old time charm ❤️
Value - Seriously the BEST value in town!
$89 for two - includes one appetizer, two soups or salads, two select entrees (full size, not scaled back due to special), two desserts AND a bottle of red or white
wine ...

Such a great night! We would highly recommend The Broker restaurant

We have dined at Broker before and were always impressed on those visits with this upscale and expensive dining experience. When we dined this time mid-week, the service was slow. We had to wait several minutes for someone to show up to seat us, and it took a long while to be served our cocktails. It was not a good sign when one of the cocktail glasses had food residue on the outside. The server was pleasant but appeared to be covering too many tables and focused on the larger group in the back room of the vault. The shrimp bowl was tasty as usual, and the iceberg lettuce salads and French soup were excellent as usual. The New York strips and prime ribs were good. The baked potatoes were cold, and the substituted potato gratin was lukewarm. The bread pudding was very good but the crème brulee was served cool. We assumed that the food was prepared and then sat on the shelf waiting several minutes for the server to have time to get to it. For the amount of money we spent, we left very disappointed and wondered if Broker will be in business much longer.

Bought a Groupon to try The Broker after hearing about it. Walking into a vault to dine was surreal after having worked in an actual bank. The setting could be romantic or casual which makes it a good place to dine. We had the shrimp bowl, Alaskan king salmon, prime rib, creme brûlée, chocolate mousse and a bottle of red wine. Delicious meal and we had great service. Definite recommend.
