We snuck over from the Sheridan during a conference. Had sandwiches and salads with a glass of wine...everything was delicious and the waiter was awesome. Highly recommend this spot!

Having grown up on Italian food, I'm a snob when it comes to eating in an Italian restaurant. I love quality Italian food, and I loathe the rest. Maggiano's lived up to its hype and reputation. Our server, Hayley, was professional, cheerful, informative, and attentive. She brought us bread and made the traditional balsamic and olive oil mix in front of us. She took our orders, and I had my favorite, ravioli with meat sauce. It was as fine a dish as one could have anywhere. The four cheese ravioli complimented the sauce perfectly and vice versa. As a nice touch, at the end of our meal, she brought us a complimentary dessert of lemon cookies topped with a really fresh strawberry. It was a great touch to a meal that will be savored for days to come.

One other note, their special pastas come with a second, take home entree. I went home with a serving of lasagne free of charge. If you love Italian food, Maggiano's is a must in Denver.

Visited while staying close by at Brown Palace Hotel on 17th St. and Tremont. No reservation. Just walked in. Seated immediately. Waiter, Michael, a paisan from NYC was excellent. Appetizer was a cheese fondue with roasted peppers. Indulgent but delicious. Maggiano’s salad with blue cheese was delicious. Entrees were gnocchi and Italian sausage and off-menu rigatoni with Italian sausage, both also excellent. And Michael recommended a Super Tuscan, 2014 Villa Antinori, which also was excellent.

A little loud. A little casual. But overall an excellent convenient experience for the money.

This review is for the Maggiano's Little Italy in Englewood, Colorado and NOT the one in Denver. The one for Englewood would not come up in the search. The food was mediocre. The taste was bland. It was overpriced. The staff and ambience are excellent. The vegetables were dried. The chicken parmesan was like leather. I would not go back.

While visiting Denver we decided to go Italian and were happy to find Maggiano's a couple of blocks from our hotel. We made early 5:45 p.m. reservations on a Tuesday night. We were seated right away upon arrival. We're glad we made the early reservations because when we finished our meal it was quite busy and there was a line to be seated. We chose two "three-course meals for two," which ended up being a reasonable price for all the food we received. The salads were good, the entrees were good (I enjoyed the lasagna wit h both pork and beef), and the chocolate cake for dessert was plenty to share. We had more than we could eat there, plus we received a frozen entree to take home and eat another time -- what a bonus. Our server was attentive, but not overbearing.
