We stopped in here after a frantic search of local places for an after work date night. We were really happy with our choice. We came in on a Wednesday when they were doing a $20 tasting of 5 wines (2 Cab Franc, 1 Malbec, 2 Cab). I stayed with a pretty decent big glass of Sangria, but my partner did the 5 tastings, and really enjoyed her selection. We had the pork skewers, grilled carrots, and patatas bravas for snacks, and all were amazing. The pork was well seasoned, moist and tender, with a mint/cilantro sauce for dipping. The grilled carrots had a lot of different flavors going on, sour, sweet, spicy, smoky, but overall just really well done. The patatas bravas were what really sealed it though. Good pieces of spicy, garlicky Spanish chorizo, double fried cubed potatoes that had a great crisp outside with light, fluffy, and flavorful insides, with a spicy aioli for dipping. We came in about 530 pm, and sat at the bar, and by 545 it was starting to get packed. However, there was a basketball game on and lots of conversation, and we could still hold a good conversation between each other without having to raise our voices. The dining room looked a little empty, but that would make for a decently romantic dinner. Parking is limited so get there early or prepare to park on the street.
