The menu isn't straight up traditional, but the food is good quality and very enjoyable, as are the surroundings, especially if you can sit on the patio during good weather.

Our server (Valara) was helpful and attentive. The cheese dip and salsa was the best we’ve ever had. My husband loved the cabbage salad and big steak burrito. My daughter and I got the create your own combo meal with taco, tamale and enchilada served with rice and beans, all were delicious. My granddaughters got cheeseburger and soft taco, they enjoyed them. The soft tacos looked awesome. If you eat on the patio, you can bring your leashed dog. Trip advisor has never steered us wrong!

It was really great food and sangria! Seated on the patio over looking the stream. Hot day but very comfortable by the creek. Very good service!

We are visiting Colorado Springs and wanted to go to the best Mexican Restaurant in town.

We arrived at 8.40 to be told they were no longer taking sit-down diners and that we could get take out...not a great start. If you close at 2100 in my book that means you close taking in people.

So eating at 8.45 at night is normal most places but clearly not here.

We then got a takeout which was tasty but a complete mush up. It seems the food had just been tossed into a plastic tray and that was it. The tortilla chips were really greasy and tasted slightly fishy.

So all in all - a bit of a disappointment.

We had a large group of 17 so the margarita tower was fantastic. Our first waiter was not cutting it so they gave us a new one who was awesome. The queso was very good. I don’t think anyone was unhappy with their food but I can’t say what everyone ordered. This was our second visit and will return just for the tower!
