Lived in Colorado Springs for seven years circa 1980 and returned a week ago to visit friends. They suggested going to Margarita At Pine Creek for lunch on a Friday and we did. Great experience! Food was excellent (we had salads with chicken) including their fresh loaves of bread and desserts. Service was friendly and prompt. We once dined here those many years ago, To return and find Margarita as good as it was then was a pleasure. Its attractive location, slightly off the beaten track, still has an authentic artsy feel. All five of us, including our local friends, thoroughly enjoyed it. Great to be back!

This is not a Mexican restaurant, but still worth going to. The menu is set for combinations of App / Dinner or App / salad or soup / dinner.. So you have choices of two, three or four courses. Each course has multiple selections to fit any taste. The atmosphere and menu are more European than Mexican and each dish I tried (4 courses) were great!

This rambling old restaurant has been in existence for over 40 years and is still run by the original owners. We met friends for Sunday brunch on the flagstone patio under big old trees. The service was a little slow but we, along with many other folks arrived the minute they opened and the wait staff seemed a little overwhelmed. When we did get our food it was worth the wait! We would recommend this restaurant for loads of old world atmosphere and imaginative and tasty food.

We were seated at a lovely table overlooking their patio area (not open at this time of year). A delicious warm bread was served before our salads arrived. Two of us ordered New York strip steak as our entree; two ordered Scottish salmon. All were cooked exactly as we liked them. We each ordered the three course meal, but one chose the shrimp appetizer and broccoli bisque and the others ordered salad and then dessert. The creme brûlée was excellent. My husband liked the strawberry shortcake, but he thought it was quite different from any he had before. Service was very good. We noted that it was a bit challenging to hear each other talk, but the ambience is so nice.
This was a pricey evening out, but the food was well worth a splurge.

Servers were friendly and helpful. Answered questions about the food. Food was disappointing. A shrimp tostada with avocado and relish on top and the shells were still on the shrimp? The salad with the house salad was only adequate. The server brought the second course commenting the kitchen was moving food quickly. Really? A fine dining restaurant? The Scottish Salmon was over cooked, and if it was not going to be cooked medium rare, the server never discussed it. Alternatively, I could have asked for it to be cooked medium rare. Our table was happy with the mushroom bisque and pork tenderloin - lots of happy comments about it. A member of our group was happy for a decaf latte, though tasted just okay. Overall, not my idea of a fine dining establishment.
