We stayed at this hotel one night on the way to Pagosa Springs. Everything from the service, condition of the room, the food, and the views was great. The room had a full kitchen area, which went unused since our stay was only one night; however, this definitely would be beneficial for longer stays. The bed was very comfortable and had ample pillows. The TV had the Netflix app already installed so all we had to do was log into our account, which was wonderful! The free breakfast surpassed our expectations. There were several types of breads/tortillas, eggs, breakfast meats, and toppings (salsa and fresh spinach to name a few!) to make sandwiches or burritos, fresh fruits, and biscuits and gravy in addition to the more "typical" foods included in continental breakfasts. There was also a marketplace in the lobby where guests could purchase snacks, wine, and beer. The hotel was in walking distance to several restaurants and activities. We booked our room about 4 hours before we arrived in Colorado Springs, so unfortunately we didn't get a room with a good mountain view, but that was literally the only "complaint" we had. Definitely would recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a short-term or longer stay in Colorado Springs... I was almost disappointed we were only staying one night!

Very nice hotel and only a couple of miles to the Academy. Rooms were very clean and staff was friendly, although they kept promising our room which was ready until after 5pm. Breakfast was also very good, with selection of eggs, fruit, oatmeal, etc. The grounds are well kept and free parking right outside the door. No surrounding restaurants but they are only 10 minutes away. Ask for a view looking out over the Academy grounds.

Room Tip: Face the AF Academy

The hotel had such an amazing and friendly staff. The rooms were everything you needed and more. Equipped with a stove, fridge, microwave, coffee machine and a dishwasher. So it is ready for anything. The breakfast buffet was incredible. The options just go on and the food quality was superb. They were able to accommodate my cat which I loved. Not one complaint :)

I stayed here for about a week before I moved overseas. Needless to say I had a lot of stuff with me and needed the amenities they offered such as free breakfast. It made life so much easier during a very stressful time. Comfy bed! And the view every morning made me miss Colorado before I even left.

Room Tip: Ask for a room facing Pikes Peak.

We had reservations at Sonesta but received a call last minute from that hotel stating that they had a maintenance issue and had to shut down the building. So the front desk person at Sonesta made us reservations at residence Inn North instead. We really liked this hotel. The breakfast was amazing, lots of fresh fruit. The indoor pool is a little small and unfortunately there is no hot tub. There is an outdoor basketball area and an outdoor badminton area for the kids also. We had a two bedroom suite that has two bathrooms in addition to a fold out couch. The kitchen area had enough dishes that I was able to make a simple dinner. Would stay here again.
