If you go to Buena Vista and do not go to The Asian Palate, you are missing out. I've lived on both coasts and the sushi here is so fresh and tasty that it boggles my mind. They have Pad Thai and other dishes, but why bother when the sushi is so doggone good.

Great dish! For me, the combination of lime, chicken noodle, crispy bits, and fresh veggies really hit the spot!

My husband and I made reservations at the Asian Palate for our 15th wedding anniversary. We arrived 10 minutes early and were told that our table would be ready shortly. 2 more parties walked in after us, after we'd been waiting 5-10 minutes. They were both seated before us. We asked both parties what time their reservations were for, it was for the same time as ours. After waiting 20 minutes, we decided to leave. 45 minutes after our reservation time I received a phone call that 2 seats had opened at the sushi bar, did we want those even though we had reservations for a table. We came here once before in 2014, the sushi was decent, but the service has become horrible since then. I will not waste my time at this restaurant again. They would have ruined our anniversary, but we ended up at the Distillery and Viking truck across the street, which was not very romantic, but delicious!

Very mediocre Tom Kha and Green Curry. OK prices but Thai cuisine without fish sauce does not work very well. Lack of flavours, no Kaffir Lime leaves used in the dish, which would have enhanced the flavours. On the good side, they at least had Thai Sweet Basil to go with the curry.

The Tom Kha had not much chicken and was clearly prepared with a simple Tom Kha paste instead of made from Scratch.

Would not come back if it was for the Thai dishes. Can't say anything about their other dishes.

We are very sorry to disappoint you. We prepare all of the stocks for our soups and everything is made from scratch and with great care and intention. Nearly all of our dishes, especially the curries, include fish sauce. Our family backgrounds are from the Philippines and Malaysia and our menu is inspired by the food we've experienced in our families' home and from communities visited in Thailand, Cambodia and Laos.
