We got to hotel a couple hours early and the extremely nice young lady at front desk let us check in!
View from hotel incredible. Rooms are great w mini fridge too. And humidifier. Lots of parking. Small drawback was extremely slow WiFi. And hotel wasn’t full evening we were there. We will come back!

Stayed: October 2017, travelled as a couple

The lodge has great people and is a very friendly hotel. The view is about the best in the area. We have eaten multiple times at their restaurant and have never been disappointed. You also can bring your best friend, your puppy and are welcomed. We always come back.

Love this lodge! Friendly staff, great views, the room was above expectations. The bar and restaurant are first class. We drove 900 miles to get there and will do so again. Shuttle bus to take you to shopping and dining in town runs on the hour. 2 hot tubs on the deck with an excellent view.

Room Tip: go for the mountain view suites, well worth the extra $

Got the reservation via Expedia - which never sent me a confirmation email so it was a real drama to re-discover the name of my hotel res weeks later - but I found it.
The hotel was so welcoming. I found the staff to be casual but mentally engaged and interesting. I liked them a lot.
The room (226) had high ceilings with beams and textured plaster walls. Very nice. Whoever hung the art needed some help - it was hung in the weirdest places.
The restaurant was slightly like a cafeteria but adequately comfortable and some of the finishes were beautiful. Nice scotch selection. Dinner was straightforward - we ordered burgers and were very happy.
Upon day light I could see 2 things - 1. The mountain views from this hotel are remarkable - panoramic and breathtaking and 2. that the windows need washing - and not just on the outside; there was also that film on the inside, all smeared, and flaring in the gorgeous daylight. SERIOUS ADVICE to management - washing windows is the lowest-cost way to enhance your guests' experience, and regular housekeeping staff can do it.
The hot tub on the deck was dreamy. Loved it.
This place is amazing. Rustic, homey, with amazing views.
