A good variety of food choices on the menu. We ordered the split pea soup , salad mista, the Italian chopped salad and paella. Delicious! I really liked the Murano style chandeliers decorating the rooms.

Thank Sharon L

The Med, as we call it, has a wonderful variety of Mediterranean-influenced foods. The small plates give you a chance to sample many items. Three or four of these make a nice meal. I recently had the special (lamb and eggplant over pasta), which was delicious with a breadth and depth of flavors.
We go to The Med several times a year and have enjoyed everything but the noise level, which can get a bit "bright" when the place is full.
One concern about Downtown Boulder is parking and walking, but this isn't a problem with the Med. A paid parking garage is next door, and Boulder parking fees aren't too bad (a few dollars for a meal).

We went here with another couple and we just kept ordering tapas, drinking wine, and enjoying each others company. The place can be a bit loud, but the food is very good. They have a nice wine list as well. Always a favorite when we visit Boulder. Our waitress was very good and attentive.

I've been going to "The Med" for 25 years and, in terms of food, it does not disappoint! That said, I won't go at night anymore when it's crowded and the noise levels are "off the charts". I wish they would do some sound attenuation...

Lunch on the outside patio is a must!

This was the third visit to the Mediterranean, and if possible, better than trips 1 and 2. We eat off the tapas menu, and unless you have a large group of guests that can have paella, this is the way to go! We started with the Basil Shrimp, while I ordered the Mussels. Always order the Mussels! They come with their own loaf of bread (All breads are baked in the restaurant) and you will need the bread to soak up every drop of the delicious sauce. We than split orders of the most tender beef and chicken en croute. Since it was my birthday, The Med treated my wife and I to a sampler dessert tray that was Awesome: creme brulee, carrot muffin, and chocolate cake. Surprisingly, we had all of this, plus a G & T and a glass of Pinot for about $50.00. Cannot beat it folks. The atmosphere is upbeat and the layout has a different vibe depending where you get seated. Not enough? then ask for a consultation with one of the chefs who will be glad to tailor your Tapas Experience. 5 starts all the way.
