Chautauqua has an interesting history, and this location in beautiful Boulder has a lot to offer. The Flatirons are right outside you door, with trails of different levels to offer along with the stunning view. There is a nice restaurant on site. Happy hour is a pleasant time to sit on the upper deck porch overlooking the grassy grounds, and enjoy tapas and a glass of wine. When we stayed there, there was a bluegrass concert in the auditorium; we liked this, but they offer several kinds of events. The cottages are down home and close together, but there are some other options, slightly more expensive.
