We decided to go up into the mountains for one night before we left Boulder. Clean and comfortable. Definitely VERY basic standard drive up motel room with picnic table outside. Pool. Along a creek. Some green space. Fridge. Don't count on cooking here unless you get a confirmation from owners that your room will have that capacity. Appears to be that new owners are transitioning the property from a 50-60s style motel and upgrading it as a jumping off spot for hiking, biking, etc. Easy 15-20 minute drive into Boulder and easy access to many hiking/ biking trails. Would stay here again, particularly after the upgrade. Just be aware that many of the rooms are RIGHT off the gravel parking lot, and the picnic tables are along the lot too, but there is some shade to be had any time of the day.

This place is super awesome if you know what you’re getting. I booked through Colorado Cannabis Tours and got to use a vaporizer in my room to enjoy the legal recreation in that area so that was cool. It’s a great spot if you’re active and just need a cute place to pass out for the night before or after going in to the mountains. Maybe not a great place to spend an anniversary but it’s got its own niche.

We actually used the adventure lodge as a halfway meeting spot to pick up my large dog. Adventure lodge was more then accommodating! The rooms where so quaint and the trickling stream outside our door was so calming after that long trip. It is far enough away from everything that we didn't get street noise, but, close enough that we could run into town to grab dinner. I would definitely recommend this place for families, couples or singles. Thank You A Lodge!

Picked this hotel last minute for a night away with my husband. The price was right, the scenery was exceptional, even in the off season. Staff was cool, I will be returning for another get away as well as with the kids to enjoy the hiking!

I landed at A Lodge following a week in Chicago for Thanksgiving. We had been in a tiny hotel room for a week, and my nerves were shot. Enter this ambrosia in the form of a lodging. We were in one of the deluxe queens, so we had a kitchenette to work with. This was delightful. None of us felt like going anywhere once we handed in our space. It is charming and funky and oh so Boulder. I loved it. They are under new ownership and striving to do well with customer service. That they do in my experience. They have free WiFi in every room, because you will most likely not get phone. Not a big deal for me, I was there for an evening. Perhaps something to think or ask about if you are staying longer. I also have an old phone, so there is that. I would stay there again in a heartbeat, hopefully with more time to enjoy their lovely grounds and hospitality.

Hey Samantha, and thanks for taking the time to write us a killer review!

We're glad we were able to be a respite from your previous stay, and also that you enjoyed the property!

As you mentioned, we're new owners, and we really value feedback from our guests. The cell reception up here can be spotty, so we have installed some boosters and made sure that our wifi is strong.

We're almost done renovating our new lobby, and would love to show it to you next time you're in Boulder!

Best,
Kris
