Our 3-generation party of 6 enjoyed our meal at The Met. We enjoyed some interesting flavor mixes (kale, brussel sprout, mushroom salad, and side dish with brussel sprouts, apples and cranberries). The staff was attentive, even with our kids. As for location, it's in the main Beaver Creek plaza near in the ice skating rink. There was close public garage parking that was free after 5:30 (accessed from Offerson).

Based on reviews, we made reservations to eat at the MET for dinner. We were disappointed, the food was under seasoned and my dessert was microwaved into a rubbery mess. Not recommended.

Last visit. We have been visiting the Met annually since it opened. The craft cocktails and nice wine list along with interesting, international dishes made the place a welcome addition to the minimum food scene in BC Village. We’ve watched it decline with time, especially last year. But this year, it just was a real disappointment. I noticed tables on either side of us complaining and sending dishes back when we sat down but didn’t think much of it. However, I did that some favorite dishes were no longer on the menu and many others seemed to be recreated. The Craft cocktails were both a little unbalanced but forgiven. Hey, we’re on vacation! The wine dispenser had empty bottles, but we were charged anyway. They weren’t sure what to do to refund the card. We dropped it. Waitress was delightful, super sweet and big smile. But I had to clear my own dishes to an empty table continuously. Her support staff largely unavailable to help her. The Met salad was ok but a plain start. The pork tacos were bland, missing the cheese, and the corn tortillas were breaking in half (store bought bland). The eggs were not as remembered - smallish, lacking flavor. The poke was just but eh. Not the old constructed dish with love and sauces on each chip. The beef short rib was dry (how is that possible?) with just a dollop of sauce and the asparagus was lifeless and unseasoned on the plate. I won’t talk about the kids chicken quesadilla- but the sad dish was made on the same corn tortillas. Flatbreads at other tables looked ok. The place was also empty during spring break at 7 pm. That should have been the alert. Take an Uber to Vin48 in Avon.

Came in early for apres and some cocktails during the week and we were the first ones in at about 6:30. Just a couple of specials for the apres but that was alright, the small plates were just right. The stuffed peppers and the stuffed mushrooms were very good while the carnitas tacos were just alright. They have a cool wine dispenser that you choose which ones and how much you want to try in ounces that can get dangerous. All in all a good meal, nothing amazing though.

We enjoyed dinner at The Metropolitan which specialises in small dishes. It is a fun concept to enjoy with friends. I can’t remember what we ordered, lots of small plates, but everything was delicious so I would recommend this restaurant.
