We obtained a one week stay through our Interval International timeshare. Since we generally stay at resorts, we had to adjust to staying in a suite hotel. The good? Outstanding staff that offered a personalized touch. The property is quite beautiful and overlooks the plaza. Even though it is the oldest hotel on the grounds, it has been maintained beautifully. The limitations? Because it is a hotel, the suite rooms only include a bedroom and sitting area. They unit we were in also had two large walk-in closets that probably could have accommodated a roll away had it been needed. Unfortunately, the unit did not have a microwave and only a very small dorm sized refrigerator that froze the contents after a day's use.
The staff is great in that they let you use the hotel kitchen to prepare food but that gets old after a week. Granted, most of the guests that visit this area are VERY wealthy so probably do not worry about food prep. The morning breakfast was a treat, underground parking was available a couple doors down from the property and guests could use the health club across the street at another property.
I would recommend this property for a couple seeking an overnight romantic escape.More
