This Days Inn is far below Wyndham standards. We could have saved money by going to a cheaper motel. For starters, the clerk was not really friendly and wound not look at my AARP card. I don't know if I got a senior discount or not. I did not get a receipt at check in and could not get get one at check out, because the office was locked with a note on the door that the staff was out helping a customer. Then we was put in a room for a handicap, leaving us to park away from the room because of the handicap parking.
The room was somewhat surface cleaned. There was no disinfectant smell, but a light funky dirty smell. There was dirty shoe prints on the bathroom floor. The sheets and towel did look clean.
All the motels in the area showed they was all booked up that evening. After driving close to 300 miles that day, dealing with the heat and several road constructions, I was to exhausted to drive another 50 miles to a maybe a room available.
I have been to several motels that has a lot of wear and tear. The only one I have been to worst than this one, had hourly rates.
I will be avoiding this motel in future travel.More
