This was our second stay at the Vintage House. We booked a good rate through the hotel at a rate of $325 per night. The lobby and pool were under renovation at this time, but our stay was unaffected.
The French country charm of the hotel still is a big draw for me. I did not find the renovations to the room particularly noteworthy but I did enjoy staying on a second floor room this time. The room was bright, pleasant and nice views of the vineyard. I enjoyed sitting on our balcony and enjoying the afternoon away.
One comment I have is that breakfast and tea time are not as lavish as prior years. A previous reviewer mentioned that gourmet breakfast items have been replaced by Costco items, and I second that opinion. I’d even go as far to say Costco has better pastry items. Gone is the omelet station and the delicious pastry items.
Service is good, and the location is unbeatable. Overall a good stay, and I would stay again.More
