We have driven past this restaurant many times and always been meaning to try it. We finally went on Friday night and we thought it was great.

The food was very nice and they have very decent servings of food. All the hot mezza we ate were wonderful in particular the lamb sausages with pomegranate syrup and the cheese pastries.

The staff were all great and were helpful in explaining the dishes. They had a belly dancer on the night. I don't know if this is a usual thing or if it was because they had a function in the back courtyard.

We would definitely return to this restaurant again.

Recently I visited the Cedar Sofra at Sans Souci, 5 stars for food and 5 stars for service. Not only does the restaurant have a beautiful fit out and newly renovated courtyard, it has a warm authentic ambiance that travels alongside its waitresses and owner. The Banquet was only $35 a head, and there was plenty of food and it was absolutely delicious starting with homemade dips, fresh salads, hot entrees and charcoal meats! Definitely fit for a romantic dinner for two or a table of great friends!

We recently had a night out at The Cedar Sofra - a newish restaurant in Sans Souci. When we arrived we were seated and our waitress seemed to disappear for a good 20 minutes. Meanwhile we stopped another waitress and placed a drinks order. Drinks appeared much later as they did not have "bitters" and had to purchase from a nearby shop. Once food was ordered it was brought out at intervals dips, bread, salads, pastries and chips - grilled meats followed after approximately 45 minutes. Serving sizes were generous and authentic. Original disappearing waitress had a real attitude problem - needs some serious customer service training

I'd driven past this restaurant on many occasions and it looked appealing so we decided to try it out for dinner.
We had the $35 per head banquet and it was delicious. There was so much food that we struggled to eat it all. Loved the baba ganouj and the kafta was amazing!
We wanted to have dessert but couldn't fit it in.
The service was wonderful - very friendly and welcoming.
We will definitely go there again!
