I had never tried the red clam chowder until I went to lure. Mainly this is because I used to love the white clam chowder so much and simply stopped eating clam chowder all together after I learning I had a dairy allergy. Lure's red clam chowder to the rescue! It is slightly spicy and loaded with so many delicious ingredients. I love dipping their complimentary sour dough bread rolls into it! I also love many other dishes Lure has to offer including their roasted artichokes, guacamole and chips, strawberry salad and more! Icing on the cake is the beautiful design of the restaurant, it has great flow and ambiance.

We have been to this popular fish house restaurant several times while staying across the street at Four Seasons and it is always been crazy busy. Service is always very fast, friendly and very efficient. The happy hour is one of the best deals around, with a great selection of delicious bites that are more like full meals and a great variety of foods that can appeal to all. We enjoy the delicious clam chowder, toasty warm bread, large platters of golden fried shrimp and fish tacos. This place gets SO busy it is hard to find a spot to sit in the "happy hour" bar area, but definitely worth the effort. Great drink menu, but with all the money you save on food, treat yourself to one of the better labels of wine they offer on the regular list. This is one restaurant that continues to offer great food at a great value, all in a lively albeit somewhat deafening environment, but your not going for a romantic dinner for two, so enjoy it!

A very "corporate" sort of fish restaurant - large, noisy, but with friendly service. One of the best restaurants in Westlake Village, so if you find yourself driving on the 101 and must stop for good food - this is the place. Lots of happy hour business types in there, shrieking women on the lam - all is as it should be in Corporateville. Aside from this - not cheap, but good cuts of fish, excellent modern American seafood cuisine.

If you're ever passing through Thousand Oaks, Ca on Highway 101, and you love fish, you must visit this local favorite. Great food, reasonable prices and nice atmosphere. Considered by many to have the best fish in Ventura County, it gets very busy around lunch and dinner.
