The Sunset Tower Hotel is our favorite hotel in Los Angeles. It is a boutique hotel that creates a safe, warm environment for its guests. For example, Angel, a server at the terrace restaurant, greets us with a cheery welcome. He is kind, courteous, hard working, and is dedicated to serving the guests. The reception team, valets, porters, and even the security detail makes us feel welcomed.

Room Tip: We liked the rooms facing the pool area.

We recently spent 2 mid-week nights on Sunset Blvd in the wonderful Art-Deco Sunset Tower
Hotel. Our small but well appointed room was well placed with windows(which opened!!)facing West. The bathroom had a large walk-in shower, wonderful towels and amenities from Kiehl's, a vendor whose products grace few hotel properties of which I am aware.
The Tower restaurant and bar are cozy and the menu is a good mix of uncomplicated favorites. The Terrace room has a good breakfast menu and the pool deck is just outside. We did not take advantage of the massage and salon offerings on the lower level. Valet parking is efficiently handled and restaurants and museums, as well as the Beverly Center, are a medium walk or short car ride away.

Room Tip: the odd numbers face East, West & South, I think. Even numbers face the front of the house.

Sunset Towers' overall decor has been beautifully appointed, bringing you back to yesteryear's of the Hollywood starlet era. The staff is extremely friendly and accommodating to your needs while staying at the Sunset Tower Hotel located in lovely West Hollywood. I highly recommend this as a romantic getaway.

Room Tip: I've stayed previously at Sunset Tower and believe you cannot go wrong in room location.

I stayed at the Sunset Tower Hotel in February 2012 during a week-long business trip. The hotel is quite 'old school' - but in a comforting, luxurious way, and as a hotel which caters to the cream of Hollywood, nothing is too much trouble, and the service is impeccable. Special thanks to Jessica and Terry on reception, who went out of their way at every stage to make sure I had a great stay, and that my every single business need was catered for.
The Tower Bar and restaurant serves absolutely delicious food (many thank to Elise for her kind service), and the Argyle Spa in the hotel is excellent and friendly, and highly recommended.
In short, I will be back!

If you want to rub elbows with the stars and angels place yourself at the tower of power.
The Sunset Tower Hotel has the best waiter at The Terrace restaurant. His name is Angel and he is the best reason to wake up in the morning and have breakfast. You'll be able to recognize him by his radiant smile and excellent service. He works from the heart and garanteed to start your day with a positive vibe:)
