This tiny house is very clean and has everything you would need to be comfortable for a short stay. North Rustico is centrally located and the grocery store, wonderful bakery and several restaurants are within walking distance. When we were there at the end of July the fishing boats did not go out and you can walk along the boardwalk and look at the sea which is visible from your front deck.
The location was perfect. The views were amazing and we could walk to most places in North Rustico. The cottage was exactly as described, "tiny" - but suited our needs. We enjoyed having coffee on the deck in the morning and a glass of wine on the deck later in the day. We explored PEI and hiked in many beautiful parks on the recommendations of owner Kyler. Loved all the wonderful seafood we bought from the fish market.
The house is tiny as advertised, my 5'3" husband had to watch his head on the doorframe, however, for a family of three it was perfect. Everything we needed to cook at "home", very clean, great little porch, and great access to the Canada Day festivities and the boardwalk. The boardwalk is about a 2 km walk to the beach and it was awesome to have so close. Good value. The only complaint we had is the size of the coffee cups! Need large mugs.
The house is quite tiny as stated and it is very difficult to get in and out of the bed upstairs because of tight space within slanted ceiling. The frig was in poor shape with tape holding a door shelf together. The owner did not come around as promised when we emailed there was an odour in the house. We had to call for a hair blower which was delivered by a young girl as the owner still didn't come around to address our odour concern. Owner did however let us have the house a few hours earlier when we arrived from another North Rustico rental. Sadly I cannot recommend this rental as it was a poor experience for us. The harbour view was good.
