Went with friends for dinner out. Two of us ordered the Friday night special of prime rib and we were not disappointed. Much more than we could eat at one sitting and so tender. The entire meal from antipasti, through minestrone soup and salads to the entree was very satisfying. The seafood platter was ok, according to my husband; prawns were excellent but the cod not so much. Service was excellent and quite friendly.

This is a very good Italian restaurant, in between Petaluma and Bodega Bay in the small town of Valley Ford. Great food, great company. Go early so you can take a walk through town after your meal.

A place in the middle of nowhere, it was our only possible stop for dinner while crossing the area at night. We did not regret it. Once you enter you are in the bar area, but the restaurant is further in, set in a nicer and better-lit atmosphere.
The staff was very attentive and you really got the feeling of a family-run place. You can read the story of the place on their menu as well.
Everything was excellent, the soup, the salad, the lasagna and the fried chicken. Fresh and tasty, we quite enjoyed it. Dinner for two cost about 58$.

Went for an early easter dinner. Mum had the ham special. Wonderful and not too salty. I had the steak which was fine though not great. Decent anti-pasti. Perfect green beans. A great Chianti by the glass. All the wines are $30. Full bar. The vodka selection was a bit curious. I think the only kind they had was Imperial. But hey the drinks were fine and nothing is very expensive. Kids menu is pretty limited-Spaghetti, Ravioli or fried fish. Bread was a little stale. Simple place. Bar seems like a real belly up to the bar kind of place. Probably popular with the farm hands from around here. May not be busy late. Recommended. We'd go back.

The vibe is old school red sauce Italian meets northern California cattle rancher. Food is good standard fare for what they are trying to do.
