Check in went smooth since I had pre-booked and checked in online through hilton.com.
Our key did not work. Not again the second time with new keys. On the third try we were given a new room which was a slight upgrade. The battery that powers the lock on the first room was dead.
I am a Hilton fan and I like this hotel. Marriott is ahead of Hilton on technology. I can't imagine Marriott with a key not working. That said Hilton is more generous with perks and food and is better at recognizing loyal guests and showering them with points.
The pool and hot tub were toasty warm, very clean and super appreciated.
A nice lady who calls herself Grandma hangs out in the breakfast area and greets guests. Nice touch.More
