I have stayed here several times and it never lets me down. The rooms are very comfortable and decorated a little on the contemporary side, but very warm. On my recent visit I had a room upstairs with a balcony that overlooked the trees. At some hotels the included breakfast is an afterthought, not here! It is served buffet style in the restaurant on the property and it is delicious! Eggs, bacon, sausage, muffins, breakfast potatoes, excellent variety of fresh fruit and more. The coffee is delicious too, a big plus in my book! If you are looking for a welcome change from cookie cutter hotels you will love this hotel!

Room tip: All rooms are great, but I prefer being upstairs.

This is a truly unique hotel. From the incredible architecture and the immaculate and cozy rooms, to the delicious food and exceptionally friendly and helpful staff, this is a very special place. It was one of our best hotel experiences. Everyone went above and beyond to make it an enjoyable stay. The owners, Jeff & Patty, are so gracious, generous and down to earth. We will definitely be back.

Had a really nice time. Staff helpful and pleasant, rooms clean and new.

Attended one of the "pop-up" cooking classes which was really good fun and highly recommended. Would definitely go back. Cedar House is a 2 mins out of Town so close enough to enjoy all the things going on but far enough away not to be caught in all the hussle.

Surprising venue for these parts. Having just spent an evening at a Casino in Reno, we were pleasantly delighted by the new, hip, uber clean hotel, the chic rooms and the friendly, very helpful staff. Breakfast was great also - first BnB Ive ever been to that actually offered steel cut oats. They have taken their time to do it right here. My husband was even texting them during our travel the day before we arrived and they were texting back suggestions, making dinner reservations for us, and just taking good care.

Two nights ago we attended a "pop up" dinner at Ceder House and it will not be the last one we do. The food was outstanding, service was beyond great, and the entire experience was fantastic.

I am not sure how often they do the pop up dinners, but it's not frequent enough. I think the next one is in December and then not again until the Spring.

These are themed multi-course dinners that are preceded by a very detailed explanation by the chef. Seating was limited to about 40 people and the kitchen is just a few feet away with an open invitation to step in at any time.

The meal was accompanied by optional wine pairings, which were well chosen and fully complemented the food.

Our niece is getting married here in June so we went up with her and some family to check out the place. While we didn't stay at the hotel we did walk around the grounds that were nicely done. We do plan to stay here in June.
