Description: 1909 Temecula is a tribute to the Machado building, the location where the restaurant and bar now lives. Well before the 1909 burger was created, this structure has been home to a trading post, livery, auto shop and most notably a bar. During the 70's, the Longbranch Saloon was known as the roughest place in town to get a drink. Locals often stop in and tell stories of brawls and shootings. In fact, several bullet holes are still in the ceiling. Today, the building serves as an ideal spot for unique food, handcrafted cocktails and craft beer. 1909 has an industrial appearance that is still inviting and fun. Sit on the huge patio for sun and people watching or, sit inside for a pub atmosphere unlike any other in the Temecula valley. We even have dog bowls for our four-legged friends! Whether you come by with the kid's for brunch or late night Saturday with friends, 1909 and the crew are sure to give you a great dining experience in Old Town Temecula.

Old Town has really changed over the years. Used to be a sleepy little area off the freeway. Now it’s a full blown, packed tourist spot, and 1909 is no exception. Was very crowded and was about 45 minutes before we were called for our seat.

We had the 1909 Burger and few drinks and really wasn’t bad. Prices are steep, but in line with the touristy nature of the area. The burger was fresh and served hot. Didn’t care for the bun, but someone said its some type of “Egg Bun.” Fries were good and they offered various flavors. The menu has a good selection and Ill try some of the variety on the next trip.

Really liked the location and was great watching street rods cruising the street. Service was excellent and beer was ice cold. We will be back, maybe in the off season.

With so many places to choose from in Temecula old town, this one hits on all cylinders for what it is. The food was really done well, and pretty down the middle all in all. The layout is great, indoor and out. The staff was very nice and attentive without being bothersome. Some artisans behind the bar, putting in passion to the mixology game.
The key here is that you will not be disappointed at all. A good solid spot to grab a beverage, a bit and a game on the tv.

We dined twice here during our visit to Temecula. Service was very good and lots to choose on the menu. Nice to sit outside and watch the world go by. Great selection of craft beers. Would recommend

1909 has become mine & my husband's favorite date night restaurant. We love to sit outside in the evening and watch the cars and people pass by. Our favorites are the 1909 burger and the crab and shrimp empanadas. Fresh and so so good!!

Travelled to have lunch with friends. Brought our elderly mother. They were so accommodating, especially when they had the wrong size tables. The staff was wonderful.
We ordered a variety of breakfast and lunch items.
My only criticism was the lox on sourdough slices. It tasted a little stale. It would have been better if the slices were toasted. My charcuterie plate had the same bread, but beautifully toasted.
Also, instead of dried figs to the charcuterie plate, use fresh halved figs. Now is the season.
