This is the only spot that we did wine tasting so I have nothing to compare it to but we really enjoyed it.

A tasting is $10 for 6 pours and you keep the wine glass with the Hart Winery logo on it. We sat at the picnic tables outside that had a great view of the vineyard. If we went again though, I think we would bring a lunch with us to have with the wine- it was the perfect atmosphere/view for a picnic lunch. We were also able to bring our dog with us which was a big plus.

The wines themselves were tasty- I don't know very much about wine but I enjoyed them and they had a good variety to choose from. This may have been because we were sitting outside, but when we went in to get our next pours, I wish they told us about the wine that we were going to taste (there were descriptions on the tasting menu). And like I said, I don't know enough about wine to ask a comprehensible question.

But I like that it was family run and they were definitely welcoming when we went in. It's an enjoyable experience that I recommend.

When heading to t-mec for a wine tour, you truly must make your initial stop be Hart winery U which should be fairly easy because it is the 1st winery you come to). This winery has been family owned since 1980, leading to their complete understanding of their crop/wines, yielding a superb product! Jim and Christine are truly knowledgable and helpful, which just adds to the family atmosphere that Hart Winery encompasses. If you are looking for a low-key, fun, and family oriented experience head to Hart, if you are looking for a hoitie-toity, snobbish, overindulgent winery filled with FLUFF then head anywhere else down the road! When looking for the best reds in Temecula follow your taste buds and your heart straight to Hart Winery, you will definitely not be disappointed!!!

Not really impressed with the tasting room. There are much better wineries in Temecula. Their selection is limited, and their tasting room is essentially a barn. The servers were friendly. Its conveniently located which is its biggest plus. If you can only visit a limited number of wineries, skip this one.

Tasting in a barn? Many of our guests enjoy actually tasting in a working winery rather then a tasting room that is often far removed from the actual winery production facility. Although rustic, our winery and tasting room are certainly not a barn, well kept and clean and you will likely find a member of the Hart family pouring you wine.

We went round and round on the wineries that we were going to visit and this was a last minute change. They opened early for us and were the best. great wines and wonderful people. As you know part of enjoying wine is the company and they were over the top in kindness

The tasting area is tiny which makes for a better experience. Bring a sandwich~ You can sit outside on the picnic tables with your wine and enjoy the day.
