I've stayed here before and the staff is always great , the rooms are comfortable and the kitchenette is is really convenient. They even offer coffee in the morning and it's pretty good coffee lol . I have stayed at some of their other locations and they are all comfortable and convenient. I recommend staying here to all my friends and family when they travel.

When you walk into the beautiful lobby you are greeted by the smiling faces of the front desk staff. Desiree,Susan,Norma,Sarah and the manager Hilda all provide the most excellent and professional service that my family and I have ever experienced. I will continue to recommend ESA to everyone who desires "A" list attention at very reasonable prices. Situated between San Diego and Los Angeles, it is the perfect little/big community to stay to visit the world famous wineries and hot springs before seeing a show in L.A. or dining on the ocean in San Diego.
The rooms are clean and cozy and the staff makes sure you have everything you need to cook in your own kitchen.

I'm surprised by any poor reviews. My husband and I got a great deal on a room (nearly half the price of the surrounding hotels) and I set my expectations VERY low. We were pleasantly surprised! Staff was friendly and the room was spotless. Yes, it could use an update but it was clean! If you are looking for a romantic hotel, sure, this probably isn't for you. But if you would like a clean spot to put your head, this is it!
We had no issues with parking. I would stay here again.

This place was not very friendly or clean. It smelled of some type of insect spray and even though we booked 3 nights, we checked out after the 1st night and found another hotel. When we checked out early, the front desk didn’t even ask what our reason was for checking out early. I am not really one to complain...I usually just take a mental note and keep it moving but I thought they should have at least asked why. I had photos to show them of the worn and torn carpet as well as someone’s dirty, nasty acrylic fingernail on the floor. It appeared someone had been living in that room and they vacated quickly to make room for the rental. We would have been happier at a Motel 6. I am not sure if this is an Extended Stay Hotel for locals but it wasn’t what we expected. We won’t be returning.

Great, helpful, friendly staff. Parking difficult but included. No electrical outlet (stripped out) in bathroom and no repairman on staff. Beds HVAC and tv okay. There is a "grab and go" breakfast but get there early. Muffins, granola bars and coffee goes fast. Caulking not sanded or painted.
