A really good value. Bed was comfortable and room clean. Also the hotel is within Easy walking distance to wine tasting rooms and restaurants in the middle of Sutter Creek. Breakfast was ok but sort of basic.

Clean and well kept hotel, a friendly welcome at check in and spacious room which was also very clean and beds with a very good matress to sleep in. Room was also very quiet.
Not much around the hotel in regards of restaurants but there is a bar located at the LL with a variety of drinks and even a small selection of snacks like cheese quesadillas.
No disturbance as noise from the bar as it's really far away from the rooms....and drinks are not to be taken outside the bar.
Breakfast is a good variety of everything.
So this is a really recommandable stay at very moderate price.

Either have something to do or place to go as there is nothing around there during the week. When we arrived we were told there was no internet. Considering there is no pool or gym and we arrived during the week over the 4th (also No FIreworks) at least we had TV. Also, Sutter Creek closed down at 5pm.

My husband and I have stayed at this facility numerous times over the years. My first reaction was that of shock when we pulled up to check it. The landscaping is dead or dying, lots of weeds and exposed landscaping matting. I understand water conservation, but there are other options. The property looks like it is in financial trouble.
Next, as soon as we checked in the receptionist informed us that the WiFi was not working and no idea when it would be. I am in business and rely on communicating by internet.
Then we were told that the sports bar/lounge had a private party that night so we could not use it. We had looked forward to using this amenity, just relax and not have to leave the property after a long day. It was close to completion the last time we stayed.
The last thing was no pool or work out area as is described in their amenities list. They never had a pool, but when I read this online was excited thinking they this was another addition as a part of the remodel.
The front desk representative was unpleasant at best, so I didn’t bother to point out that we paid anticipating all the amenities were a part of what was included in the price. It appears that the only thing that changed was the price.....much higher than we ever paid.
To summarize, we will not book with this property again. I do not need the travel points that badly. We do have family who we had recommended and have stayed. They were shocked when I related this experience.

Hi there!
Thank you for your feedback. We are sorry your stay wasn't as expected as the times before. We apologize for our appearance as we are in the middle of some property wide landscaping and upgrading. It has been a process, but we hope to get it completed as soon as possible. We do hope you change your mind and allow us to host you on your next trip to Amador County.

A nice stay for a weekend of wine tasting in Sutter Creek. The rooms were clean, the staff was friendly and attentive and it was just a short 5 minute walk into town. The downstairs bar being open until midnight is convenient as most places in town close up early.
