Very crowded place and one has to wait to get a seat. So once you go in, order your meal/ food and when it is ready they will get you seated. Tasty south Indian delicacies in Sunnyvale and the place was crowded not only with Indians but also a number of American/ european guys. It definitely cannot beat the taste of MTR/ Adayar Ananda Bhavan in India but still we were Happy to have vada and dosa after about 20 days of our trip in USA.

We are on a 3 week road trip across the US and this is the best South Indian food we could ever find in the US. Awesome food but don't expect much by way of service or a smile, the food does all the talking and makes you smile. Highly recommended and the only suggestion would be for the guy at the cash counter to be more happy. Don't know if he had a bad day but he needs to cheer up.

The Mini Idli Sambar, Onion Rave Dose, Pongal are great here- it is one of the best South Indian restaurants in the area evidenced by the queues at certain times of the week, especially weekends

It opens at 8.30AM daily, unlike most other Indian Restaurants in the area, which is a good thing. This is the saviour when I'm bored of American Breakfast in hotels

Puliyogare/ The Tamarind Rice here is great and is also a saviour, as I carry it when flying back to India, and it remains fresh for meals in the 24 hour journey!

One thing that could change is - the expectation to order and pay for everything upfront at the door. There should be scope to order top- ups from the table:)

Pretty good restaurant considering it is in the US- Bay Area!

Excellent taste of South Indian food but the queues are long and sometimes waiting period tests your patience. But when the food is served, all the sour feelings vanish. Super choices and suits large section of people

This place is a favorite for Indian Nationals looking for authentic South Indian food. And then there are folks like me who got acquainted to it through business lunches with Indian colleagues.

Not that unless your from India you won't know what you're ordering. There are no photos at the counter. But that's part of the charm of the place. Be adventurous and order a different item every time. They're all great! And don't forget the mango lassi.
