Best brekkie ever

The breakfast here was on point. I stayed here with my family for a night and I was not disappointed. The staff were lovely, especially Joshua, who helped us bring us to a table and take our order so politely. The barmaid was great service and friendly to chat to. 10/10

Just stayed 2 nights here and overall it's a nice hotel, rooms are clean and modern. Food was decent but the staff serving need training, really slow the majority of them.
Didn't like that the bar closed at 10.30 sharp both nights and no residents bar or room service after.
Also bit ridiculous having to pay 3 euro per person for a game of mini golf that is covered with stones. Should be complimentary if staying.
On the plus side the leisure centre is nice and wasn't too busy.

Room tip: Ask for a room away from the noisy roundabout

We enjoyed our stay at the Maldron in Wexford. We stayed there for over 4 weeks while working in the area. The staff were very friendly, the rooms were spotless and the food was excellent. The hotel was very busy but nothing was too much hassle for the staff.

I brought my elderly parents here for 2 nites . My dad in his late 80s and isn’t very mobile has copd so is on oxygen both parents are not very mobile so I rang the hotel twice before we came tge last call being the week before we came . I spoke to the hotel receptionist and explained to her about my parents and requested rooms close to reception on ground level and beside each other . When we arrived our bedrooms were on the second floor at end of corridor bedrooms 209 & 210 they were not next to each other but down corridor from each other this made it very hard for my parents to get around the hotel also the single bed in the bedrooms were far to hard and high my daughter fell out of the bed twice we had to push bed against the wall for her . I wanted to tell reception but my parents did not want any hastle . I am not happy at all as you did not accomadate any of my requests why was out rooms so far away when I spoke to ur receptionist on 2 different occasions and explained everything to her . To make it worse my dad was doing his nebuliser I had just entered his room he was alone when a member of ur hotel staff knocked at his door to say there had being a complaint about noise this was late afternoon I said sure there is only my dad here what are u talking about he continued just to ask was everything ok ?? . When I came home I emailed your hotel 7 dad ago now I did get a reply Dayi g they received my email and somebody would be in touch 7 days later haven’t heard from anyone .which is a disgrace to treat a customer line that not on at all .

Room tip: Single bed far too high and very hard .

Fab stay at the Maldon in Wexford. Ideally situated for the races and also a short drive into the town centre. The staff couldn't do enough for us all, and that was during a busy weekend with lots of guests due to the races. The Irish National Heritage Centre is 3 minutes drive away and thoroughly recommended for children young and old.
