Great restaurant !! Not large and the sign is hard to find as well but this is a "home run". The food is awesome .....the service.......everything. If you are a foodie this is a great place to go. The owner is there and very helpful.

You have to have reservation! We went there for dinner and I had roasted chicken w/ mashed sweet potato & grilled brussel sprout which unbelievably blend so good in your mouth..yum!! good portion..a bit too crowded and squeezed; chair to chair! the place is so small!!

“A local gem”
Reviewed 21 February 2012

After reading about Cafe La Haye for years, we finally ate there for my husband's birthday. In his words, it was "one of the best meals I've ever had!" We both loved it. Simple, fresh ingredients perfectly prepared and served. Our starters were a cheese/salumi/olive plate and a roasted beet salad with panko-crusted goat cheese. For mains, my husband had (four huge) sea scallops, and I had quail. The service was efficient and friendly without being intrusive. We both enjoyed the casual, warm atmosphere. It took us a long time to "discover" Cafe La Haye, but we'll be back.

“Cozy spot with outstanding food and service”
Reviewed 12 February 2012

This was our first dinner in Sonoma and it was fabulous. They are so welcoming and friendly. The food was out of this world. We had the lobster gnocchi and the porcini crusted filet. The special dessert was indeed special: French silk cake with a pecan fleur de sel crust. Yum!
