This is a nice, clean hotel with comfortable rooms and is in a fairly convenient location. The limited hours for the coffee bar were very annoying for early risers. The "Fitness Center" was being renovated so they had moved one piece of exercise equipment to another room, with a couple of dumbbells. Pitiful and useless. So much for keeping in shape. I also noticed that both elevator inspection certificates had expired two months prior (and mentioned that to the front desk). OK place to sleep, but I expect more from a Marriott property.

I would like to connect with you on your experience with our fitness center as we are not under renovation to understand what may have been misisng. Please reach me via email, shawna.bowman@sunhillprop.com or 805-915-500.

Stayed here 10 Days for business. This is a beautiful hotel. The rooms are spacious and clean. The front desk staff made me feel like family and Milissa In the restaurant was great they serve Starbuck’s coffee and I had breakfast there every morning. The restaurant is a little over priced but worth It because everything was so delicious. Liz Rhea the sales manager introduced herself and was helpful with booking info
. The Reagan museum is 3 miles from the hotel and restaurants close. This area is beautiful and ask a room with a Mountain View.

We spent a night here when we had to be in Simi Valley for a funeral. We thought it would be the best choice of the few hotels available. The staff was excellent! Bed was great and we slept well. Our room was fine, but we missed some amenities we are used to atHilton Garden Inns where we usually stay. The coffee maker with bad coffee...not a Keurig. Only 1 coffee, no lotion. No bottled water. Small TV. Room 300 had a lot of street noise from traffic, but I think all of the rooms may have this.
The bar was very pricey for wine. $10.50 for a glass of Clos du Bois Chardonnay. (I just bought a bottle at Von’s for $7.) Glad we brought our own.

Most places we stay have coffee in the lobby early for guests, but they don’t. My husband was sleeping, so I didn’t want to wake him, and I went to the lobby to read at 5:30 am. Coffee wasn’t available until you could buy it from the Starbuck’s, who serve the breakfast.

This friendly hotel is in a good location to visit the Reagan Presidential Library and there are many area restaurants to choose from. We were given a room overlooking the patio and fire pit below and featherless pillows that had been requested were immediately brought to our room. We were also given complimentary bottled water and cookies in addition to the points and market place item usually given at check-in. AC was difficult to regulate. Since this hotel does not offer complimentary breakfast like some other Marriott's, we were hoping to relax in the morning and purchase breakfast at their Bistro. We were disappointed that their breakfast was no longer served after 9:30 am. Not everyone is traveling on business and we wished we didn't have to go elsewhere for a 10:00 breakfast.

I was so impressed and grateful to the staff and leadership of this hotel for their compassion and hospitality during the fires. We fled our home and they were so accommodating. I saw that even fire fighters were staying there. The rooms were absolutely comfortable and the decor was modern. Everything was clean. We would’ve stayed longer if we could have. If you’re trying to make a decision whether or not to book, so it, because this is a place you want to patronize, because you’ll be served by good people, who care. And the hotel will offer everything you need. There are also many restaurants and stores nearby so it is very conveniently located.
