Fabulous fresh healthy food, lots vegan and veggie options. Great tea and coffee selections and wonderful smoothies. I would eat here everyday if I lived in Santa Barbara.

I have been wanting to stop at Ah Juice since it opened and finally got a chance..i came in for a late breakfast 10:30, they stop serving breakfast at 11. There was a nice selection of breakfast items, but , i opted for the avocado toast with micro greens and a strawberry smoothie.
the prices were quite reasonable for the portions, and the food was really good..
I like the way the restaurant is dedicated to organic, no waste, the toast came on a charming little cutting board and the drink in a glass mug..in fact, i could not finish the smoothie, so i got (for a $2.00 deposit) a mason jar to take it home in.
At any point , i can come back and redeem my deposit on return of the jar.
This may sound a bit overboard, but, i really respect Ah Juice for having a real and strong vision .

They open early and close at 5:30, it is the perfect place to swing by on the way home and grab a salad/soup to go for dinner. you can also pick up ready made juices,.parking can be a little tricky, but if you
slow down and check out both sides of the street ,there is usually something.
This is a very casual place , it does have a sweet outdoor seating area if you would rather not sit inside.

I only need to say one thing. Juices are made from scratch. Food is made from scratch.

My favorite hummus Thai beet cabbage coconut (there's more...) wrap is made from scratch. The staff takes their time. Yayyyyyy! When you bite into this wrap your mouth will delight into coolness from the beets that ooze beauty into your napkin (keep one on your lap) while coming alive with the tastes of coconut, subtle Thai spices spruced up with crispness of cabbage that does not overwhelm. No spice overwhelms. And that folks is their secret within their food and juices.

The drinks are heavenly. Their pastries are heavenly. I love their smoothies and this is the ONLY place in SB where I do not get a stomach ache. I do not feel sugared out. I feel good. I feel great. Alive and humble for their care and love into every sip and bite.

New addition to the juice/breakfast/lunch scene in a part of town that seems to be getting a lot more lively in recent months.
They certainly know how to put nice dishes together and the care they take is obvious. We went back for breakfast 4 times and also for a couple of lunches during a month in town so it must have been good to make us drive there every time as we’re on the other side of Santa Barbara and the frustrations of little things not quite right were put down to them finding their feet. Pancakes for breakfast were the best I’ve had but when you turn up on a Friday to be told they only serve them on a Saturday it makes you wonder why you bothered – do customers really have to coordinate their diaries to their food preferences or should they be able to safely assume they can get the limited but really tasty/wholesome menu on all days of the week?
Tiny portions of fresh fruit with the generous portions of pancakes (on a Saturday) are a little silly when the farmers market is two minutes away. No breakfast tea at breakfast time – what’s that about and when it has happened twice in a week, why doesn’t someone take the hint and go to buy some? The juices are great and the avo on toast a hit every time so it’s to be hoped the teething problems work themselves out soon – would love it to succeed as the family running it know what they’re doing on the food stakes even if the delivery is a little clunky at the moment. Support it and they’ll work it out – you’ll be pleased you did.
