Not much to add from previous reviews!

The hotel is well located in Santa Monica, very conveniently located. Friendly service from reception and the valet parking service.

The rooms are not the biggest, but are well appointed (but it could do with an elevator) and for our one night stay, everything was perfect, no complaints whatsoever, I'd recommend and return!

This boutique hotel is absolutely adorable! Shortly after arriving the staff greeted us with a goody bar for our dog. The first day there our blinds fell down. Maintenance was gone for the day but the gentleman at the front desk was kind enough to put them back up himself. We were having such a hard time finding a place where we could stay with our dog and this turned out to be absolutely perfect! Short walk to the beach, restaurants, and bars. GREAT location! We will be back!

Nice room. Wine and cheese at night. Close to funk zone, train station, good dining and close to pier. Very pleased. Construction in area and elevators closed. Nice restaurant next to hotel. Can’t go wrong with this hotel. Rooms small but very nice.

Dear Bjorn5555, Thank you for the great review! I’m so happy to read you enjoyed our hotel’s proximity to all the action in the Funk Zone, train station, and downtown! The contemporary Mexican restaurant connected to our hotel is called Santo Mezcal and their food is absolutely delicious! Thank you again for the review!

Santa Barbara was a truly memorable stop on our road trip from San Fransisco to San Diego.

The Hotel Indigo was great, the secure valet parking next to the hotel was perfect. Situated a few minutes walk from the sea front or in the opposite direction along State street to the central shopping area.

We loved the design of the hotel, contemporary and arty. The restaurant next door is well worth a visit for one evening. Staff couldn't be better, friendly and helpful. The only downsides are, the room size, a little small for what we are used to and the hotel is situated right next to the train line, when the trains pass they like to sound their horns.

Overall a great hotel and we would stay again.

Ok negatives first, the rooms are small, compact, but this is a smallish boutique hotel. The room we had was a king, light and bright and airy with great quality fittings, comfortable bed and coffee machine. Yes, parking is $30 per day. The staff are friendly and welcoming and very helpful. The location is great, less than 5mins walk to the beach or the funk zone (give this a go and taste wines, great fun). Highly recommended.

Dear Springs63, Thanks for leaving a detailed review. You’re right, we are a boutique style hotel which means we have compact rooms. However, our compact rooms allow us to be a Green Engage hotel! I am glad you enjoyed our comfortable beds and our staff’s service. Hope you had a great time exploring Santa Barbara and the Funk Zone!
