This place is a Hidden Gem. I love the strip that is located in. It's not very fancy inside but the food is truly fresh and delicious. Make sure and sit by the windows it's wonderful people watching.

Dine inside or alfresco, enjoying the pleasant mini courtyard. Food was good, especially the chowders, both the white and red. Lovely server who couldn't have been more attentive and friendly.

This tiny, neighborhood restaurant is just a short drive from Huntington Library. If you are looking for a small, genuine experience, this is it. There are a few, small tables with more tables outside, a fresh fish counter, and the kitchen. A trip to the restroom, allows complete visualization of the entire operation and everything is spotless. The food was delicious, the service was personal and delightful. We loved this place and can't wait to return.

San Marino is almost dead on a Sunday, but this place is open, so for that reason alone it is a real find. It is clearly popular with locals. It is also very close to the Huntington Library and Gardens. You can eat inside or outside. We ordered fish tacos, which was a mistake. I think we would have been much better off if we had ordered a regular fish dish...but we wanted something light and thought we should try some Southwestern food. Unfortunately, the shrimp/calamari in the tacos was breaded and fried, which was not to our taste. We should have asked. But we will give it another try, because their menu looks like it has a lot of things that promise to be better than our choice. In addition to being a restaurant, it is also a fish market, and their fish looks very good. Certainly better than the selection of fresh fish at Trader Joe's and Pavilions in Pasadena.
