We were on a trip to Bay Area, and were headed to San Jose for the evening, so we decided to look up some good Italian food in the area. We were looking for something good, but not $$$$ as some of the better restaurants were. We saw Palermo, and it had good reviews, so we thought we'd give it a shot. We are so glad that we did. It was early, and there were only a few others there when we arrived. We were sat outside, and our host made sure that we had shade. We ordered caesar salads to start, which were very good (although kind of expensive for a side salad). Then I ordered the crab ravioli in vodka sauce and my husband ordered the Tortellini Alfredo. Both were amazing! I still think about that vodka sauce and wish I lived closer. The service was impeccable as well. Such a great little restaurant. We plan to make it a staple when we visit again.
