Flower Flour is a neighborhood bakery tucked away in the Willow Glen area of San Jose. The atmosphere is comfortable and relaxed and provides a great place to enjoy good conversation over coffee or tea , with a delightful choice of freshly baked desserts. There are also options for sandwiches, quiche etc. The desserts are my favorite and are so beautifully done, they actually look like art! The desserts are displayed so you easily choose what appeals to you. You can also take something home for a special occasion. It is a lovely combination of bakery and florist, so you can enjoy your selection of food and also enjoy the floral arrangements, or purchase one if you like. Well worth your time for a visit to enjoy a relaxed time with friends or even to just enjoy reading a good book and some down time.

.....but parking is hard to find!! There are a few spaces behind but otherwise you must park in the neighborhood which has skinny streets so beware of oncoming traffic- take turns when there are opened spots to pass! We early got clipped by someone in a hurry!
Cafe is so cute, great ambiance with lovely floral arrangements throughout including flowers you can purchase. Food is excellent, local and healthy choices amongst the delicious sweet desserts and bakery items! We each got a cup of fava bean bisque soup that was wonderful. The skin of the fava beans were a little funny tasting as they made you think you we're eating pieces of fiber, but the overal taste was very good!

Chose Flower Flour for Mother's Day. Have been there before, which was a better experience. Had Spinach Pie, very rich served with one tablespoon of potato salad, large chunk of potato with a lot of dressing. Think the pie would have been better served with a green salad, since the pie is so rich.
May try again for coffee and dessert, but probably not for a special occasion.

Reminds me of cafes my wife and I went to on a recent trip to Paris. Except that they also sell flowers, which is interesting.

We had the breakfast crepe and roasted veggie crepe, fluffy and sweet with hearty savory filling. I probably could have finished two by myself.

Nice decor including a mural on one side. Seating area is a bit cozy but there was no wait for service despite being filled to capacity. Definitely has a distinctive charm to it!

It's a good alternative to the weekend crowds and long waits on Lincoln Avenue.

After having lived in France, our love for crepes has never gone away. So we stop here on occasion for breakfast. While we have never expected French-level high quality, this latest visit suffered severely. We were served dry and pretty tasteless versions of their Breakfast Crepe. When some of the potatoes in the crepe are grey, you know it's far from fresh.... And then there were the espresso drinks: way too watery. Maybe it was just bad day for the young staff members or perhaps they've just gone too far downhill.
