The owners, Bill and Karen, were friendly and accommodating. Our room was comfortable and ample size for my husband and me. In the evening we had a great visit with other guests in the parlor. Breakfast was wonderful. I am returning in July.

This is a cute Inn in the heart of California Gold Country. The innkeepers are super friendly and very accommodating, even figuring out how we could plug in our electric car at their place. Our room was very clean and comfortable and they served a delicious breakfast. We were also able to bring our dog at no additional charge,

We had a wedding to attend in the nearby town of Valley Springs and found this wonderful inn to spend the night at. The inn keepers were so accommodating and we were able to check in a little early. The room was cozy and the bed was so cozy. Breakfast the next morning was exquisite and very tasty. They accommodated my husbands dislike of melon and made sure what they were serving was to his liking. We throughly enjoyed a 2 hour conversation with the inn keepers and we will be back. In the summer they say they show movies in the garden area and we will be back for that. Thank for a great overnighter!!

We wanted a quiet get away from stress and found it at Robins Nest! All the rooms have a theme and we had the "nautical" room. It was perfect for us! Had an enormous claw foot soaking tub and a electric fireplace for ambiance. Had a really cool window that allowed us to open and hear the rain while soaking in the tub! Breakfast was delicious and made fresh by Bill who obviously likes using all fresh ingredients. All in all, we will go back in the summer because it also had a great yard with BBQs!

Room tip: Downstairs rooms are right off the dining room so you can see right in them when at breakfast, ours was upstairs

We were looking for a place to stay as my husband was performing a wedding for our son in the garden at the Pickle Patch. I found the Robins Nest on line. We had our first experience with a bed and breakfast. We had a wonderful weekend stay. The husband and wife were, Bill and Karen, friendly and so pleasant to talk with. They made a gourmet breakfast each morning and had brandy and sherry for a bedtime relaxer. If you plan to visit good country you must stay for at least a night. Have children? The inn have a two bedroom for that need. This is a quiet relaxing place to get away for a weekend. I have posted pictures.
