First stayed here 27 years ago, decided it was time to surprise my wife and make a return trip. Upon our arrival we met the owners, Bill and Karen, two of the friendliest people you would ever want to meet. Though we had made reservations Bill showed us every unoccupied room and let us pick the room we wanted to stay in for no extra charge, now who does that. We spent three nights here and were treated to a delicious and different breakfast each morning along with coffee, juice and tea. Bill is a fantastic and creative cook. I had never tried breakfast soups before, but it was delicious and different each morning. On our second morning here my batter died in my car, Bill got out his voltage meter, etc. and checked things out for me. He determined my battery was shot, so after jump starting me he followed my to Al's tire shop less than a mile away and we purchased a new battery and had it installed within a few moments. Say hello to small town service and friendliness. Bill and Karen are interesting people do not miss the opportunity to visit with them. We will return, but much sooner than 27 years from now. Continued good luck to Bill and Karen.More
