There weren't lots of choices around but we used our Marriott points here and it suited our need fine driving from San Simeon up to Menlo Park. We didn't really take advantage of the amenities but they seemed nice.

Got a 1 bedroom suite. The room was rather small for my liking and would have preferred the bathroom to be accessible via the common area and not the bedroom. But it was nice to have a kitchen area for the kids milk, snacks and for washing of baby bottles.

Sitting area has kinda small TV, we used the sofa bed and put a pack n play next to it.

They have a full blown breakfast available, which makes the cost of the hotel room a good deal.

I have booked here again, this time a 2 bedroom suite. Ill update my review if necessary. I expect to have a good visit this time as well.

Definitely worth the price for the amenities.

This particular Residence Inn is a single building unit with multiple floors. It is located not too far from Monterey which is why we selected it.

The staff provides excellent service. The rooms are nice, spacious and very clean. Breakfast was an average Residence Inn breakfast, nothing special.

Room tip: We had a room on the first floor right off the main entry hallway. We didn't hear any noise.

Little disappointed 😔 in this place. The pull out bed (sofa bed) is horrible. First we opened it up and had a stain on it. The mattress is so thin every wire underneath you can feel just horrible. I took a shower today and got my towel didn't even realize it was All ripped had holes in it. For the amount of money a night you pay I stayed in better inns cheaper.

Stayed overnight while in town to go to a concert at the rodeo grounds. The suite was well-appointed and well-equipped. There was a nice balcony that did not have much of a view, but was still able to enjoy private outdoor space. The front desk staff are very professional, friendly and service orientated. You could sense they enjoyed their work. The snack bar had some really nice choices and a full bar. The food was quite good! All-in-all a nice place to stay for a road trip or a Strip to Salinas.

Room tip: Stayed on the third floor and the elevator was very slow
