We have tried everything on the menu. My favorite is the eggplant dish. I thought they closed down. There do have a sister restaurant in Rocklin.

I think many in the US have no familiarity with Turkish food, which I think is why some excellent Turkish places have not survived here in Sacramento.
Anatolian Table is a really excellent destination in terms of food. The grilled meats are excellent. We tried a mixed grill platter for two, which featured chicken, beef, lamb. There was one spicy ground meat dish that was especially good, as was a very thin sliced and deliciously spiced lamb dish - looked like it would be dry but wasn't.
Menu is extensive and there were lots more tempting options. We would have liked to try some appetizers, but we not hungry enough for more than the entrée. We did share a walnut based dessert which we thought would be like baklava but was completely different, with a thick layer of walnut paste in a phyllo dough. Loved it!
Wine options were quite good, and servings were generous.
Wait staff was young and enthusiastic - service was very attentive.
The only thing keeping this from being four stars is the setup - the furniture is not as comfortable as it might be. Hopefully they'll experience some success at this new location and have the opportunity to invest more in furniture and décor later.

My friend's group went here for a birthday dinner. I really enjoyed the basic foods--the na'an, the chicken skewer over rice, with a beverage. The atmosphere was quiet enough to talk to friends easily. There was plenty of room, so we didn't need to eat near other people. The wait staff was helpful and the service was good.

It's a hard location, surrounded by other great restaurants, but I hope that people find the new location for Anatolian Table Turkish Bistro in Midtown Sacramento. There are a few things missing from the full menu such as some of the appetizers (the lamecun, Turkish pizza) and the pide (the yummy bread covered in cheese, meat, veggies) and the apricot dessert found in Rocklin BUT the rest of the menu is intact, the service is just as good, and the convenient street parking is definitely great. We'll be back!
