Lively atmosphere in a deservedly popular restaurant downtown. Two sushi bars one larger and one off to the side and plenty of tables also. Varied menu with good quality appetizers, tasty special hand rolls, regular rolls, sashimi and nigiri. Basically any compliment of items you would want for a good Japanese sushi dinner.
The edimame was interestingly (for me) served cold and was served complimentary along with my very good crispy gyoza and excellent miso soup. The green tea was very good and had a scent of ginger.
There is quite a varied selection of unique rolls with a few standards. I had Bob's Roll and then selected a special hand roll with crab and shrimp that was outstanding.
Everything I had was really good so would urge you to experiment with something new.
This is more of an updated experience and not a quaint little sushi bar. Very popular and serves a good selection of sake and regular alcoholic drinks. I will definitely go there again with friends or colleagues
