We were able to reserve the large picnic area. There were plently of clean picnic tables and benches. There was a play land area close by that kept the younger children entertained. There were bathrooms close by. This park helped us to have a successful family reunion.

This is always a nice place to visit. Great place to golf, relax, walk or picnic!. I have also been to many park sponsored events.

This is the center piece of Land Park, an upscale neighborhood.

It's got all the attractions of a park. It's huge, big grassy areas for play and picnics, lots of trees, walking and jogging paths, ponds filled with ducks and tennis courts.

But in addition to all that, it's home to The Sacramento Zoo, Fairytale Town 9fun kids play and adventure attraction, and William Land Park Golf Course.

There are lots of festivals, gatherings, concerts, food & wine themed events and lots more.

All in all, a fun place that attracts many.

Disappointing for us. Stopped there on vacation, could not find walking trails, rock garden under construction. Ad seemed to indicate it would be flowers and plants to see along trails. All we saw was the golf course. There were picnic tables to eat at and I'm sure it was relaxing for local folks. Just not up to its advertisement.

If you have driven past William Land Park with it's great running path, zoo, Fairy Tale Town, golf course, play grounds, picnic areas, and Funderland, you may have missed the incredible Rock Garden. What a surprise to come upon this oasis of flowers, trees, and plants that you may not have at home, but probably should. Here you can find gorgeous blooming varieties that surprise visitors around each curve in the path. The garden is not huge, but you can get lost in dreams in its array of colors and scents. We had been to William Land Park hundreds of times over the years, but it took our granddaughter to lead us to the Rock Garden in William Land Park--love it!
