“A Taste of the Past”

It is a fun place to go on a warm day and wander the streets looking in the shops and have lunch on the river. We love bringing out of town guests. The train museum is fabulous.

“Not quite as expected”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 27 February 2012

Truly disliked all the tatoo parlors in Old Sacramento. We expected more antique type places and art galleries. We were with in-laws in their 70's who didn't really enjoy much except the Hornblower Cruise which they loved.

“Lots to do”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 26 February 2012

So much to do here. Be prepared to walk though. Right along the Delta, you can take a trip on a riverboat, ride a horsedrawn carriage (a romatic ride) either through old town or all the way to the Capitol. So many shops to see, the Ca. Railroad Museum is near by, so is the Crocker Art Museum. Plenty of restaurants to sample as well!. Good for all ages

“Nice place to walk in a sunny day”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 26 February 2012

The buildings are need to look at on the outside. The days the city go "back" in time are fun. A lot of little shops to enjoy for all tastes. Very good restaurants and entertainment both inside and sometimes outside.
