Children were devasted, let down experience to say the least

The santa express.
Due to the ques of traffic to access the park with only one member of staff on, we were 10 minutes late to get the train, my 2 year old and 7 year old were extremely excited about the experience of going on the train and seeing santa, to be told we could not get on the train, and I asked the 'bubbles' the elf member of staff could we just go to see santa. He responded saying the train was full sorry about that. My 7 year old was extremely sadned with his choice words leading to her having an emotional break down. 2 hours later we finally got to see santa, we had to walk over and back in the weather was shocking.
Terrible experience for the price we paid.

Beautiful Oakfield
Review of: Oakfield Park Day Pass and Train Ride

We visited yesterday 4 generations 5 to 69 years old. The Harry Potter themed visit was amazing for the 13,10 and 5years olds and I must say the adults enjoyed it just as much. Early rain cleared and aftermoon autumnal sunshine allowed us to walk all of the beautiful grounds and take the train ride. We all had fun with the games and the questions and answers. Overall a great experience for everyone and the coffee was great. Highly recommend we will be back.

Brilliant day out!
Review of: Oakfield Park Day Pass and Train Ride

Overall a great experience from start to finish. The tour of the upper garden was outstanding and the tour guide Bronwyn made it an even better experience leaving no stone unturned throughout and was very attentive. The food was delicious and the staff were friendly and welcoming. Highly recommend checking this place out, it's a real hidden gem worth a visit!
