Tapa museum has captured the history of the small town in a house museum. It is only a short walk from train or bus station. There is a garden where children can run around and the backyard is made from old skis, which is very original. Downstairs there is a permanent exhibition showing the details of everyday life in the olden times, Everything is ordered by time and theme so you will feel as if travelling time. Upstairs there are temporary exhibitions about for example photography or soviet times. The exhibition hall upstairs can also be used as a gathering place. There is opportunity to make some tea and sit down to relax.
