Old barn has been transformed to cozy bar to serve beers from small local brewery. It was quite nice experience to go there and try their beers and also hear about their brewery. I heard they serve really good burgers but unfortunately they ran out for the day we were visiting there in the evening.

Thank You for the feedback! Our burgers are famous, but unfortunately we serve them only during one special weekend in July. Definitely working towards serving it whenever the taproom is open.

Located in a small quiet village off an equally quiet road is this beautiful taphouse belonging to Estonia's oldest microbrewery. I can recommend the Dark Pihtla beer, a dark traditional Saaremaa farmhouse beer, the Kolm Venda, an india pale ale and the Okas Kurku, a spruce ale - made with spruce. Their selection is available in a number of pubs in Kuressaare as well as a number of supermarkets on the island.

The staff are welcoming and only too happy to explain about the types of beer available. The taphouse is open during the summer between midday and 6o'c - but when we were leaving quite a few locals were making their way to the bar - so I guess it is a bit of an institution in this rural area. For beer lovers touring the island of Saaremaa it is well worth the visit.
