We were in a one bedroom unit that overlooked the golf course. When they designed these, they realized that it gets really hot, so have the balconies a bit recessed so that there is almost always some shade. We like to sit outside most of the time, so it was perfect. The adult pool was perfect and always had plenty of chairs available and usually shade was available, but could use a few additional umbrellas.
Our room was not ready at check-in time, so the manager gave us a coupon to get a drink at the bar and then after we arrived in our room, she sent a bag with insulated cups, a teddy bear, and some snacks with a note apologizing for the inconvenience. It turned what could have been a bad experience, into a good one.

My family and I just recently stayed at the resort like we do every summer. It's an amazing place to stay, they have so many amenities on property for all ages. But this summer we had a completely different experience. I have never seen staff talked to and belittled by management as much as I did during our stay. We spend most of our time by the main pool of the resort and on many occasions Heather let her staff know they did not deserve gratitude from guest, nor were they worth it. We enjoy every stay at the Westin and hope next year will be a better experience.

Unfortunately like may other large locations, the service can be erratic. There are times when the front desk (eg. Brandi) is exceptional, and other times when Maid service bangs on your door - PRIOR to check out!

This is unfortunate, since the amenities are great, so the service should match. I've had better customer care at Holiday Inn of Highway 111.

Perfect spot for Spring school break. Even though this is a big resort one do not see a lot of people because of huge territory and a lot of activities. Stuff is extremely nice and helpfull. A lot of citrus trees on the grounds, guests and the stuff are encouraged to collect fruits. Excellent golf cource, tennis courts, spa, multiple pools and restaurants. We enjoyed and will be back.

We were here for 3 nights in May 2016. We booked this hotel through British Airways, and it was fabulous value, at around £90 per night including breakfast - we were not really sure what to expect.
We arrive after 8 PM - check in was straightforward, all staff lovely, and we were directed to our room in Building 7 on this sprawling 40 acre estate.
The room was so lovely and spacious - just delightful, nice spacious bathroom, closet, patio to sit out on, everything was perfect, one of the nicest rooms we have ever stayed in.
Breakfast the next morning - you get vouchers for $17 each which gets you continental breakfast, or you can use this towards anything else on the menu. Can sit inside or outside in the lovely restaurant and we chose outside. We really enjoyed our breakfast there all 3 mornings - food was lovely and service was excellent.
The gold course looked lovely with the mountains in the background.
Unfortunately, as we only had 2 full days in Palm Springs, never really used the resort facilities or restaurants, but everything looked perfect.
Would stay there again in an instant.
