After noticing a sign next to our RV park, we decided to take a look. My husband worked 25 years at LAX so airplanes were a major part of his past. His father was a car racer so we enjoy recalling some of his history. The airplanes are mainly in an area with a well paved pathway that meanders among the many hands on displays. Because of the heat, we toured the outside first and then took a look at the cars. Even for someone who is not "into" cars, the walk down memory lane was fun and all the museum volunteers were very friendly and helpful. The last section was the war memorabilia room which was displayed with great care. We ended up buying a few things in the gift shop as a memory of a fun stop. $10 each to enter.
