We walked by the place on 8/21/16 and the space is being turned into a retail store. It's too bad because we always thought the food at Estrella was excellent.

We had reservations for dinner and when we arrived on August 1 we were met at the door and advised that the owner and the chef had fallen out and the restaurant had just closed permanently. We happened to drive by the next day and they had taken the awnings down and had scraped the name from the window.

Slightly spicy dishes but not too much for a non-spicy eating person. Very nicely flavored fish and ribs in large portions. Had a hard time finishing all the food. One of many restaurants in the area worth trying.

The atmosphere was great. The servers and host were very kind and attentive. That was the best! Great menu, queso was very good. The main course was terribly salty.
Excellent beer selection.
We wish it was better!
